OUTLINE
Taylor Sheridan’s universe
The universe created by Taylor Sheridan is still growing. In addition to his Yellowstone series, action icon Sylvester Stallone starred in his first major TV role in the gangster drama Tulsa King, which debuted on screens last year. “We immediately greenlit season two because it broke records and led us to our biggest new signup day in history,” stated Chris McCarthy, President/CEO of Paramount Media Networks & MTV Entertainment Studios (via Parade). “Tulsa King together with Mayor of Kingstown, 1883 and the upcoming 1923, undeniably confirm the success of our strategy to franchise Yellowstone and use it to supercharge streaming growth – none of which would be possible without the creative mastermind of Taylor Sheridan.”
A world apart from the mysteries surrounding Yellowstone Ranch, the Paramount+ series set the groundwork for a humorous and realistic world of crime and thrillers. Stallone and ‘The General’ crime boss Dwight Manfredi’s return for a second season has already been confirmed, but when will the new episodes air and what can we anticipate from them ?

When might Tulsa King season 2 appear on television..?
Although we are aware that the Stallone-starring sequel will return eventually, Paramount has not yet provided an official release date. There has been little movement despite the fact that the Writers Guild of America strike, which had been affecting several TV productions through the summer, is now finished. Recently, Stallone threw his entire support behind the WGA and recognised that the strike had affected the writing of the second season. “It’s definitely affecting work because we can’t move forward with a lot of projects, especially Tulsa King,” he stated to Newsweek. “But I think it’s changed so much that the writers do have a serious gripe.”
The SAG-AFTRA strike, which continued after the WGA ended, will also have have caused delays to production, although that has also now since been resolved. This means that hypothetically, work can resume on Season 2 right away, although it is unlikely that filming will start until 2024. At this point, we can probably expect a delayed release date of early 2025.
Terence Winter, the show’s executive producer, may leave the project after contributing to an impressive list of credentials that includes both The Sopranos and Boardwalk Empire. This could cause another delay. Tulsa King’s pilot episode debuted in November 2022 (which seems like a very long time ago), and the last episode aired in January. However, according to Deadline, Winter resigned as showrunner midway through the broadcast because of “creative differences”. As of now, his replacement is still unknown.
As usual, stay tuned for updates on the official release date as it approaches.
Tulsa King Season 2 cast
Given that there were no significant character changes or even hurriedly dug dirt hole deaths in the first season, we may anticipate that Stallone’s New York mafia boss will be joined by a large portion of the original cast.Bodhi (Martin Starr), Stallone’s right-hand guy and erstwhile legal marijuana dealer, ought to be returning with surprise buddy Manny (Max Casella). Additionally, there’s still the unresolved matter of his romantic interest, Stacy(Andrea Savage)who was once an ATF agent in secret.
And let’s be thankful that Stallone consented to return at all, especially in light of how difficult the first season was for him. It’s quite difficult. He told Variety, “It’s unbelievable that some people have been doing this for four, five, or six seasons. “When compared to filmmaking, it’s harsh. I promise never to tell a feature film, “This is a hard shoot.” This is like a vacation, in contrast! It is, in fact.” The following is the complete cast list for Tulsa King season two that we can currently anticipate, though more announcements may alter the lineup.
• Sylvester Stallone as Dwight Manfredi
• Andrea Savage as Stacy Beale
• Max Casella as Armand Truisi
• Martin Starr as Bodhi
• Domenick Lombardozzi as Chickie Invernizzi
• Vincent Piazza as Vince Antonacci
• Jay Will as Tyson Mitchell
• Garrett Hedlund as Mitch Keller
• AC Peterson as Pete Invernizzi
• Dana Delany as Margaret Deveraux

Tulsa King season 2 plot : That Blow Your Mind
After serving time in prison, Stallone’s character was assigned to form a new criminal syndicate in Tulsa for the benefit of the Invernizzi family in Oklahoma during the first season. But after Stacey set him up, the first season finished with Manfredi in handcuffs with the authorities. Considering that no formal storyline specifics have been revealed, the character in season two is probably going to run into legal issues. In another scene in the episode, despite the fact that Manfredi would most likely be imprisoned right away, Chickie’s rude decision to leave the family could cause simmering animosity to explode.
The executives in charge of television at Paramount have also made suggestions that Tulsa King may follow Yellowstone’s lead and investigate the prospect of spin-off series centred either Oklahoma or the Invernizzi crime family. Tanya Giles, president of Paramount Pictures, said: “The huge success we’ve had with Tulsa King and Sylvester Stallone opens up possibilities with Taylor Sheridan, who consistently, his mind works in terms of universes and backstories, so I think there’s always a possibility that there’s more to that universe and more to that story.”
